We are thrilled to announce a new series of Master Class wine tastings at Soif! Each tasting will be lead by a different “Master” of wine - someone with an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience in their given area of the wine industry.
Our debut class will be lead by Randall Grahm, founder and winemaker of Bonny Doon Vineyard. Randall, aka the “The Rhône Ranger,” will be providing us with an in-depth look at Rhône grape varieties. He will be discussing and critiquing not only his wines, but two additional wines that he has selected from Soif’s wine shop. We will be tasting the following selection of wines at the event*:
2018 Bonny Doon Vin Gris Normale $15
2011 Bonny Doon Le Cigare Blanc $53
2014 Bonny Doon Bien Nacido Syrah $45
2015 Domaine Chambeyron-Manin Côte-Rôtie $85
2013 Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant $90
2016 Vieux Telegraphe "La Crau" Châteauneuf-du-Pape $90
The tasting will begin promptly at 1pm Saturday, May 11th, in the Soif restaurant. Cheese and charcuterie will be served alongside the wines. Cost of admission is $100 for the general public, and $80 for Soif wine club members.
This tasting is truly a unique opportunity to learn about and taste wine with one of California’s most celebrated and influential winemakers. Further information on Randall Grahm may be found on the Bonny Doon website. Seating is limited, so we highly suggest reserving your ticket online, or at the Soif wine shop in advance.
