Comanche Cellars Tasting

Micheal Simmons.jpg

We are thrilled to welcome local winemaker Michael Simons, on Saturday November 25th, as we taste several of the recent vintages his winery has to offer. Michael, the founder and head winemaker of Comanche Cellars, has always been passionate about wine. In 2007 he decided to channel that passion into creating wines of his own. Using grapes sourced from vineyards throughout Santa Cruz and the Monterey Bay, Michael's wines are an excellent representation of the local terroir. We will be pouring the following Comanche Cellars selections:

2014 Pinot Noir Saveria Vineyards, Santa Cruz Mtns

2015 Pinot Noir Chareva Vineyards, Arroyo Seco

2014 Chardonnay, Arroyo Seco

2011 Tempranillo, Calaveras County

2013 Old Vine Zinfandel, Santa Clara County

2015 Maverick (Syrah/Sangiovese blend) Santa Clara Valley

Tickets for this event will be $15 for general admission, and as always, Soif wine club members taste for free.
